Most motivators try to get you to focus on how great you’ll feel when you exercise (which is effective). But this tip I think is more effective. Imagine how you will feel if you don’t exercise.
If you find yourself talking yourself out of too many exercise sessions, focus on how you’d feel later if you didn’t exercise. If you don’t go to the gym you’re bound to feel disappointment in yourself, and you won’t get to experience the “feel good” chemicals that circulate around your body after exercise.
Really imagining how you’ll feel if you don’t complete your next scheduled exercise session may be enough to propel you into action. Also think about how much longer it will take you to achieve your goal if you keep missing workouts.
