In a previous post I talked about 3 minute abs. I introduced you to the concept of training your abs as hard as possible in only 3 minutes. Just to recap, choose 2 abdominal exercises and work them for 30 seconds each with no gaps of rest between any of them. When you have done the 2 exercises repeat them immediately until you have exercised for 3 minutes (i.e. 3 rounds).
Today I will show you another way to train your abs. Instead of doing 1 set of 3-minute abs with 2 exercises do 3 lots of sets using 6 different exercises in total.
Here is an example:
Leg Raise & Reverse Crunches
Alternating Oblique Crunch on a Swiss Ball & Russian Twist
Swiss Ball Crunches & Plank
Remember to do 3 rounds on each set totalling 3 minutes. When this becomes easy choose abdominal exercises that allows you to load resistance to the movement.
