Exercise is beneficial for muscles and bones and helps to shape the body. Sufficient amounts maintain an optimal metabolic rate and helps support good health.
But over-exercising can be as bad for your health as not doing enough. This can cause immune system suppression, which can lead to upper respiratory infection, chronic fatigue and a number of other illnesses.
For best results become familiar with your body and see how it responds after each workout. If you’re feeling fatigued and not satisfied that you have fully recovered from the last workout either try an extra days rest or try reducing the exercise volume for the upcoming workout. This will help keep progression moving forwards without any lost days due to illness or injury through over training.
