Personal trainers in gyms usually stand next to their clients on the X trainer, treadmill or rower and the client is more than happy for them to do that and pay for that level of service. It doesn’t matter how old you are or what shape you’re in, resistance training is more beneficial for weight loss and fat loss than any endurance training.
