How To Get Rid Of Belly Fat Fast

A high level of visceral fat causes the stomach to distend. Visceral fat is internal fat. It is actually underneath your six-pack muscles and covers your organs. People who have high levels of visceral fat are also insulin resistant and need to avoid sugary, processed and starchy foods.

Exercise recommendations should be something that challenges you and not steady pace. Metabolic finishers are an ideal way to burn calories and get fit.

Does Exercising Make You Feel Worse?

You should feel alive and energetic after starting an exercise programme. As the weight comes off you should feel better and have more energy. If you are feeling worse rather than better, make sure the duration of your workouts aren’t too long and you’re not working out too many days a week.

Weight Loss Tip! Can the Cans

Most canned food is high in sodium that can contribute to bloating from water retention and exacerbates hypertension (high blood pressure) or other serious conditions. Water weight can show up as excess pounds on the scale and obscure weight loss progress.

In the long-term, eating an abundance of canned food is a health risk. Buy fewer canned items and opt for fresh foods whenever possible. When fresh is not available, buy frozen. Frozen foods do not require as many chemical additives and preservatives as canned.

Will You Gain Weight if You Eat Before Bed?

You may have heard that eating before bed will cause you to GAIN weight.

There’s some good news, and that good news is that not every food that you eat past 7PM will be automatically deposited to your butt, thighs and love handles. The key is knowing which foods to eat and which to avoid as the evening progresses.

Here’s a good rule of thumb: avoid carbs before bed in favor of slow-digesting high-quality protein.

Carbohydrate consumption causes a significant rise in the storage hormone insulin, which also puts the brakes on fat burning. Not all carbohydrates are bad, green vegetables contain little calories, are high in fiber, and they’re very filling.

The best slow digesting protein foods are animal and marine protein sources such as chicken, turkey, and fish because they digest slowly and have a very low insulin release. These sources also promote the release of another hormone, glucagon, which assists the body with breaking down stored carbs and fat within your body to be burned for energy. Red meat has a significantly higher insulin response so it’s best to avoid in the evening.

Avoid taking a simple whey protein powder before bed, research has shown that it causes more of an insulin release than white bread! Instead you need a time-released blend that includes a blend of slow-digesting, high-quality proteins.

Muscle Vs. Fat

5 lbs. of fat is much bigger than the 5 lbs. of muscle.

Five pounds are still five pounds. Muscle does not weigh more than fat but fat takes up more space (volume) than five pounds of muscle.

A person with more body fat will always look bigger even if they weigh the same as someone who is leaner.

It is important to stop being obsessed with body weight and start paying attention to body composition. The quickest way to change body composition is through the diet and regular exercise.

Simple Trick Removes Pesticides from Your Vegetables & Fruits

There are a number of different types of vinegar; each with its own set of benefits and uses. White distilled vinegar is useful for cleaning and horticultural purposes, while fruit vinegars such as apple cider vinegar has many reported health benefits when taken internally.

The only vinegar that is best avoided altogether is 20% vinegar, which is a petroleum derivative that is dangerous to breathe and can be damaging to your eyes and skin.

A vinegar solution can also be used to remove certain pesticides and bacteria from your fresh produce. Other uses include hair care, and improving the pH of alkaline water, which can benefit plant growth.

Recipes for treating a sore throat; treating various types of pet ailments; and making a non-toxic weed killer are included.

Strength & Weight Loss

The one size fits all approach to fat loss and weight loss doesn’t work, but still people keep on trying to do it and get nowhere.

Personal trainers in gyms usually stand next to their clients on the X trainer, treadmill or rower and the client is more than happy for them to do that and pay for that level of service. Here at Pro Active it’s a whole different story, I teach my clients how to train and get them lifting weights right from the start. It doesn’t matter how old you are or what shape you’re in, resistance training is more beneficial for weight loss and fat loss than any endurance training.

The result is a leaner and stronger body and in a much shorter time than other trainers who are still standing watching the clock on the cardio equipment.
